At The Plant Seed, we work with trusted growers and fulfillment partners to ensure your plants and seeds are carefully packed and delivered with care. Please review the information below before placing your order.
Shipping Locations
We currently ship within the United States only. We do not ship internationally at this time.
Order Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed. Processing times may vary depending on product availability, weather conditions, and seasonal demand.
Because many of our products are live plants, some orders may ship on specific days of the week to avoid plants being held in transit over weekends or holidays.
Shipping Times
Once shipped, orders generally arrive within 1-3 business days, depending on your location and the shipping carrier.
Please note that all delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather events, or circumstances beyond our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, order size, and shipping method. Any applicable shipping charges will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.
Live Plants & Perishable Items
Live plants are perishable and require timely delivery. By placing an order, you agree to:
- Provide a complete and accurate shipping address
- Ensure someone is available to receive the package when delivered
- Monitor tracking information once provided
We are not responsible for issues resulting from incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, refusal of delivery, or packages left unattended after delivery.
Weather & Seasonal Considerations
To protect plant health, we may delay shipping during extreme weather conditions (such as heat waves, freezes, or storms). In these cases, your order will ship as soon as conditions are safe.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@theplantseed.com and include clear photos of the item and packaging.
We will review the issue and determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement or refund, in accordance with our Refund Policy.
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear.
